The results of the first barometer of e-commerce in Tunisia reveal that 67% of Tunisians are satisfied with the performance of e-commerce sites and products, while 25% of them are not.

This same barometer, which involved a sample of 1,065 people, shows that 79% of respondents have expressed their intention to buy, from now on, from online websites or social networks that offer various products.

According to recent statistics reported by the Ministry of Commerce, the number of merchant sites affiliated with payment platforms has reached 1,436. In 2021, the volume of e-commerce transactions increased by 54% compared to the year 2020 and nearly 170% compared to 2019 to reach 9,937,474 transactions with a total value of 576.7 million dinars.
